A little preparation can make your pressure-cleaning appointment simpler. Here is what to confirm before work begins at your home in Homestead, Cutler Bay, Coral Gables or a nearby Miami-Dade community.
The goal is a clear plan for your property: the surfaces being cleaned, a safe route to reach them, and agreed responsibilities for moving or protecting nearby items.
Walk through the proposed work before appointment day. A driveway, walkway, patio, pool deck and exterior wall are different surfaces. Confirm exactly which areas are included and which are excluded.
Tell ProCare about painted, coated, sealed, repaired or delicate surfaces so the approach can be reviewed for your property. Cleaning does not repair cracks or uneven concrete. Our residential pressure-cleaning services page is a starting point for discussing the work you need.
Ask who will move outdoor chairs, rugs, planters, toys and other loose items. Keep a clear route to the agreed work area when it is safe to do so.
Do not lift heavy objects or move equipment yourself just to prepare. Discuss anything that needs special handling, and ask where items should stay until the area is ready for normal use again.
Explain how the crew can enter the property and whether a gate, narrow passage or shared driveway affects access. Arrange a place for pets and let household members know which areas will be in use.
Confirm where vehicles and deliveries should go during the appointment. If your condominium or homeowners association has access rules or scheduling requirements, share the instructions that apply to your property.
Share photos of cracks, loose material, peeling finishes, damaged seals or places where water already collects. These observations help start the conversation; they do not replace an assessment.
Mention plants, outdoor fixtures and nearby equipment when discussing preparation. Ask how doors, windows and surrounding surfaces should be prepared. For pool areas, our patio and pool-deck guide covers additional questions to raise.
Ask what water access, if any, is needed and identify the connection the crew should use. Discuss installed equipment rather than changing electrical or other systems yourself.
Outdoor work can be affected by conditions. Agree on how ProCare will communicate a scheduling change and confirm arrival arrangements directly.
Ask how completion will be reviewed and whom to contact about a concern. Follow the instructions provided for the actual surfaces and cleaning method, including when an area can return to normal use.
A remaining stain, damaged finish or uneven slab may need a separate discussion. When concrete maintenance, repair or replacement is appropriate, ProCare coordinates concrete services with a competent partner. Scope and responsibilities are confirmed for each project.
Do I need to move everything myself?
Confirm responsibilities with ProCare. Do not assume heavy furniture or installed equipment is included.
Can I discuss the work in Spanish?
Yes. ProCare can discuss your request in English or Spanish.
Does pressure cleaning fix damaged concrete?
No. Describe the concern and ask whether a separate concrete assessment is appropriate.
